The complete walkthrough
1. Prepare before you arrive
Sign in while connected and open the intended assignment. Check camera and microphone permissions before beginning the inspection.
Check: The correct property is open and a short test recording is audible.
2. Capture with context
Describe the room or feature before the observation. Photograph identifying context and important details. Record measured dimensions rather than relying on a photo to establish size.
Check: You can distinguish observed facts from your judgment and identify where each image belongs.
3. Review and upload
Review recordings and photos before leaving. When connected, wait for uploads to finish and reopen the assignment to check the saved items.
Check: The workfile shows the expected files. Local capture alone does not establish a successful upload.
4. Resolve gaps in the draft
Review transcription and extracted fields on the report. Correct names, numbers and classifications against your own observations.
Check: The report reflects the inspection you performed, with unresolved items visible to you.
Before you move on
- Right assignment
- Recording and photos checked
- Dimensions verified
- Upload confirmed in workfile
