Prepare for poor connectivity, preserve local captures and verify uploads before closing an inspection.

Prepare while connected
Open the assignment and confirm the correct property before leaving coverage. Check storage, camera and microphone permissions on your installed app. Run an offline practice capture on that device before relying on it for a paid assignment.
Know what requires a connection
Local inspection capture and server-side work are different steps. MLS sign-in and page access, evidence uploads, AI processing and report finalization require connectivity. A field visible on screen is not proof that every unsynced form edit is durable after an app restart.
Verify recovery
After reconnecting, keep the app open and inspect upload and sync status. Reopen the assignment on the web and confirm that the expected photos and recordings are present and usable. Keep the original device captures until that check passes.
If an upload fails
Preserve the original media and note the assignment and visible error. Retry from the existing assignment when connectivity returns. Do not uninstall the app or clear its local storage while unsynced evidence remains; contact support if the queue does not recover.
