2. Compare what matters
Read the source beside the draft field. Check units, dates, property identity and whether the record describes the subject or a comparable.
Check: A source mismatch is corrected before its data is relied on.
3. Resolve the disagreement
Correct the draft using the evidence and your professional judgment. Record the explanation needed to understand a conflicting or unavailable fact.
Check: The final field and supporting explanation agree. Do not replace an unknown fact with an unsupported value.
