How to set up payouts for marketplace work, and when payment is released to you.

If you take assignments through the marketplace, your fee is paid out to your own bank account through Stripe. This is separate from your ValueSwell subscription — one is money coming to you, the other is money going out.
Set up payouts first
Go to Settings → Payouts and complete the Stripe onboarding. Stripe collects the identity and bank details it needs directly; ValueSwell never sees or stores your bank credentials. Do this before you accept your first marketplace assignment — a payout cannot be released to an account that has not finished onboarding.
When you are paid
Payment is released when the report is delivered, not when you finalize it. Those are usually moments apart, but the distinction matters on an assignment that finalizes and then waits — for a portal submission, or for a required hold period to run out.
If a payout has not arrived
The usual cause is incomplete Stripe onboarding, which leaves the payout waiting rather than failing. Check Settings → Payouts first. Once onboarding is complete, a waiting payout is picked up without you having to re-deliver anything.
