Report Generation
Compliance checks
How automated compliance checks flag issues before submission, and how to resolve a flag.
Before a report goes out, it is checked against known requirements so structural problems surface while they are still cheap to fix. This guide covers what the checks look for and how to clear a flag.
What it looks for
The checks target the avoidable problems that get reports kicked back: required fields left blank, figures in the narrative that disagree with the data grid, and adjustments without supporting explanation. These are exactly the issues that are easy to miss by eye and easy for an automated pass to catch.
Resolving a flag
Each flag points to the field it is about, so you can go straight to it and either correct the entry or add the explanation that makes it defensible. The checks are there to assist — the licensed appraiser reviews the work and is responsible for the final, signed report.
